I am planning to go to either Barbados or St. Kitts and Nevis in November. Which Island is better for seeing monkeys? I am not much of a party person but love wild life, photography, shopping, and sight seeing. Thank you for any information you can give me on either of these Islands.

I am not so familiar with St Kitts nor Nevis but if you want to see monkeys Barbados is a good place to start. We have lots of them that are causing havoc with the crops and around people’s property. they have become such a pest that they were planning to offer money for their tails.
If you do plan to go to St Kitts go on the Sugar Train since it is one of the few remaining sugar trains.

You will definitely get lots of shopping since we are a duty-free destination. You can just produce your passport and ticket or if on the cruise liner you can use your ship pass to buy lots of stuff. Perfume and liquor are popular sellers.
It is also good for photography and you can do so while on your sight-seeing trip around the island. There are lots of interesting places to visit including Harrison’s Cave, Bathsheba, Andromeda Gardens (if you like flowers), the west coast, Highland Outdoor Centre and St John Parish Church which has a beautiful view.
You can go to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve to view wild life.

St Kitts and Nevis are two different islands.

St.Kitts and Nevis is a beautiful island, but Barbados is even nicer. Barbados has lots of beautiful scenery and monkeys are here in plenty at the wild life reserve.
